java plugin jre-6u6-linux-i586 killed my firefox 2.0.0.13

I have installed this plugin exactly as per Java's detailed instructions HERE.

Guess what? My FF is dead. I mean I can open it blank page but the moment i try to open an url it disapears!
It won't work even if I disable Java in Preferences.
I had to rename the folder /usr/java in which I installed this plugin (as per Java instructions) into /usr/java2 to be able to use my FF again for browsing..

Weird that!

Uninstall the java package you got from java.com and install java from the Mandriva official repositories. You need the java-1.6.0-sun package from rpmdrake.
