In order to make sound works with my shuttle k45 mini-pc, I had to put 3stack-dig in soundcard options (model). You have to use Mandriva Control Center to reach this setting, or to had it manually in /etc/modprobe.conf :

options snd_hda_intel model=3stack-dig
