The resolutions are:

1600x1200
And the package is here
I hope you like it, bye. |

If you have the time and willingness to make at least of couple more different wallpapers, I can turn it into an rpm package.
Thanks!

Very nice wallpaper!
*saves to his wallpaper folder, puts it as background now*
If you make more of these, maybe you can contact RJ/Adam/somebody else to make these come with the Mandriva installation? |

looks professional. I noticed the 1600 is different than the 1024. I know that's the resolution, and sizing, depending on what your desktop is set to.
the 1600 seems sharper, and a different contrast, a little darker.
Lovely setting and picture, very happy with it.
10 out of 10, thank you!

Yes, I begin with a 1024 and 1440 resolution and later one user from kde-look asked me if I can create a new image with a higher resolution. Thast's the reason 1024 and 1600 are different.
And now, the new wallpapers I made:

download here
I'm working on 2 new wallpapers, I hope you like it.
Comments are welcome ^_^

Nice ones, I could not do any better. I was wondering, could you make one with the same dark blue color that is on the top right corner of the 1st one? I like darker colors, the white part makes it a bit brighter for my eyes. Perhaps the same logo that you have on the 1st one on the right bottom corner as a water mark, somewhat transparent. That is a choice... but anyway, that is really nice what you have done!
Now that seems the subject is open... Why not a contest? See who comes with the best default wallpaper. The rest can be added as choices on the desktop settings (no one is left behind ).

Thanks for the idea, what do you think about this? It's more dark than before but I still can do it more dark.

I packed it into the same tar.gz. You can download from here

That is what I was thinking about. Nice! I will add it to my choices. Anyway, does not need really to be a RPM, all you have to do is copy and paste them on the same folder where you have all the wallpapers on your system. The more the better...

P.M. them, ok? Look up there at the top of the page, where it says "You have x# (new) messages or "You have no new messages". Click it up, and away you go.

I'm following this thread. Looks like work is still in progress...
When gejobj says its ready, I'll build the rpm and see if Adam or someone else with upload privileges can add it to contrib.

We don't normally put the star and the Aspirational Penguin (that's my name for it, btw, not official :>) together, but hey, looks nice =)

I like the wallpapers as they are. Those of us who've been around a while are happy the penguin doesn't have the stars in his eyes.
gejobj: What do you want this package to be named?
I'm considering these two but open to suggestions:
1. wallpapers-by-gejobj
2. mandriva-community-wallpapers
I was thinking the 2nd option would allow others to join in the fun of contributing wallpapers but I'll leave the decision up to you.
