Hi.

I made some wallpapers for the new mandriva release and I want to share them.

The screenshot:

The resolutions are:
1024x768
1280x1024
1440x900
1600x1200

If you make more of these, maybe you can contact RJ/Adam/somebody else to make these come with the Mandriva installation?

looks professional. I noticed the 1600 is different than the 1024. I know that's the resolution, and sizing, depending on what your desktop is set to.
the 1600 seems sharper, and a different contrast, a little darker.
Lovely setting and picture, very happy with it.

Nice ones, I could not do any better. I was wondering, could you make one with the same dark blue color that is on the top right corner of the 1st one? I like darker colors, the white part makes it a bit brighter for my eyes. Perhaps the same logo that you have on the 1st one on the right bottom corner as a water mark, somewhat transparent. That is a choice... but anyway, that is really nice what you have done!

Now that seems the subject is open... Why not a contest? See who comes with the best default wallpaper. The rest can be added as choices on the desktop settings (no one is left behind Very Happy

).

Nice! I will add it to my choices. Anyway, does not need really to be a RPM, all you have to do is copy and paste them on the same folder where you have all the wallpapers on your system. The more the better... Smile

I like the wallpapers as they are. Those of us who've been around a while are happy the penguin doesn't have the stars in his eyes. Smile

gejobj: What do you want this package to be named?
I'm considering these two but open to suggestions:

1. wallpapers-by-gejobj
2. mandriva-community-wallpapers

I was thinking the 2nd option would allow others to join in the fun of contributing wallpapers but I'll leave the decision up to you.
