I know you put thatas as joke
But I dislike dependencies some weeks ago I uninstalled firefox coz some prob I thought withy miro but wasn unrelated to it so tried to reinstall for old 2008.0 library I coud try to install that libraire but amsked to remove a lot of kde packages (playes and all thta) unrelated to firefox that I dislike a lot that. What i didn't liked about Ubuntu dapper.
Fortunately this is more less frequent than two years ago but still happnes some times
I ended forcing the reinstall of firefox ignoring dependecies with urpmi and can avoidcrap install thing |

It was about URPMI.
No this was the offshoot of a very drunken night, I don't want testosterone in me after what happened.

WEll you are right on that but I meant this more like enthutiast thing
For something there not much people still on Linux even when it's free
Windows is directed to a more wide range of people from geeks to anyone make all more easy do quitting most CLI functions on most normal tasks . A doctors rarely will be interested in uisng Linux for example or even know exists but will have a windows machine on his work place
But I guess point saying this this pointelss thread

Any OS is for Geeks if you want to use the command line. IMHO, I am the kind of user that I want the GUI, I have no desire to learn on how to speak in code, commands, or any obscure language. I speak fluently 2 languages and that is enough for me.
I let those obscure languages for the programmers and coders. I have enough on my plate as is. Working on a house, cars, dealing with Televideo Conferencing, Network issues, users... even life as a whole. My other project is to take my Motorcycle pretty much apart, replace the tires, clean the carburettor, new battery...
Now, DILLIGAF ?
I take the MCC any time of the day !

In my case I use both in Linux cli and graphic mode. I like use CLI coz have some advanced uses graph mode don't give the same and some uses are more practical than graph mode. Also graph mode have their uses And like see how things works inside
Some people have proposed the dissapearing of terminals I would not support that

Good god, I had no idea that this was going to cause this much trouble, next time I will take my sarcasm somewhere else.
But calling this spam and saying that it will keep windows users away is a little rich, especially considering some of these quotes:

Man I already know for this thread I gonna be flamed and this closed or deleted

Hope isn't fake that moron of Ballmer got what he deserves
He's worst than Bill Gates. At least Bill Gates could code and inovate in some areas. This Ballmer prick it's a step back in M$ucks |

Now I hate doing things like this, but there is a bit of celtic blood in me, so insults go down well . And what is wrong with a small piece of innocent self humiliation?
Now back to Linux, it is for everyone, not just power users, I am sure that we have all said that it is far easier to set up than windows, hell, most of you have told me this on occasion. Now we come to the power users, it is also for them, and servers, and well everything. So Linux wins all round, but as a preinstalled OS, windows has the market, so it is recognised as the best, because setting up a fresh install isn't really that easy if its the first time you have done it.

Possibly, the hangover is gone, but I will give it a week to see what else needs fixing.
Never trust a Hungarian when the offer you alcohol, it was his home brew schnapps, tasted ok but was 60%

Somehow this nonsensical thread reminds me of something.
When I was 21 (actually younger but no one knew it), we all used to get together and go out and get real real hammered, and I mean HAMMERED until the bars closed. Then, we'd go somewhere and party some more, decide we wanted to go out to eat around 3:-4:00 in the morning. We'd go to Denny's, and I'd usually be so plastered that I'd look at the waitress and say "High again, I'd like an order of what's in the picture..." lol.

hahahaha, good times, this was one of those nights, somehow I ended up on a roof at about 4:30 in the morning, I don't remember getting there, but remember from then on fine.
I can have my testosterone back now, everything seems fixed.
There was a interesting one similar to this some time ago on Ubuntu's forum's, about installing a girlfiend from the repo's, commands like sudo aptitude install girlfriend, that was proper geek talk.
