Hello to all, my name is jeinner campos, i am from Managua, Nicaragua, i am new at the linux world but i use Mandriva, why? JUST BECAUSE IS THE BEST DISTRO I HAVE TRIED!!!
Now, in my country, there are linux groups, SUSE, UBUNTU, FEDORA, DEBIAN and when i went to an install fest, i didnt see any MANDRIVA TEAM... so i say... I GOTTA DO SOMETHING.
I got in contact with the linux comunity in my country and i started a project, of a mandriva group. now we have the Mandriva Nicaragua website.

www.mandriva.ni.kz or www.mandrivanicaragua.ni.kz

we are getting the mandriva.org.ni domain, we have some information and forum ( we started the last week, and we are going to have an install fest this june 14th at an UNIVERSITY in Managua.

Now here is official, MANDRIVA HAS A PLACE IN NICARAGUAN PEOPLE!! i have installed mandriva in some friends computer, and they just love it. we know the community is growing!!

We would like to have support from our friends around the world.
Thank you, it would be good if you visit us, help us with new material and tell latin users that we have a portal in Nicaragua.

God bless you.

Shocked je,je,je...

well, when i said about the administrators is because i went to the mandriva forum in spanish and they were were rude to me, the administrators and moderators are rude and spoiled.

But its good to know that the international community is more open minded to help the other comunities

You what another curious thing? my natal lenguage is spanish I am from Mexico and i never in my whole life have used the spanish forum from here I always use the english one

I am sad to say this and I am not starting some racist or speaking sterotyhping all since not all people is the same. But a lot of people in my country is very closed to new things . Most spanish forums are just flame per flame I am smart than you vs you are wrong things and why I don't like looking for help on spanish communites

Is not that here that don't have also does but people seems more openminded and less frequent

Actually now i see why, in the spanish forum, you just read "DONT WRITE IN UPPERCASE", "WRITE A DESCRITIVE SUBJECT", or something like that, thats all they care...

But well, althoug i have the forum, we are gonna make the diference in that.
Thanks for your words.

Y que raro que no me hayas escrito en español je,je... tanto inglés escribes como para no escribirme en español???...

The comunity that i decided to start is for my country Nicaragua, thats is needing it to bring all the mandriva users into a local forum.

Can you translate what you wrote? je,je... i dont speak nor read a single word in french.

If you have any comment or opinion to make the site better its welcome from you or any other mandriva user here.

Now i feel more encouraged to work harder on this project, i started it all by myself but i know im getting more Mandriva users for the comunity.

If anyone having problems with the Spanish forums can send me by email a summary of the issues, I'll talk to the Blogdrake admins about it. Thanks!

Here is a new site on Mandriva Linux for those who use the language of Carlos Fuentes, Gabriel García Márquez and Cervantes.
It is on line since last May 14th. It was created in Nicaragua.
Supplementary element which demonstrates us that the communauty widened in Latin America and Mandriva is used more and more on this continent.
This site exists only in Spanish.

Otherwise, Jeinner Campos, welcome at home Wink

Yes, welcome, and THANK YOU! Your's is the kind of advocacy Linux, and Mandriva in particular needs.

I think you'll find these forums to be among the friendlier and more informative ones to be found anywhere. If any of you folks down there have any questions you'll get answers here before you'll even get a reply from the likes of Ubuntu (or even windows, yuk!) forums.

We're here to help, in my case because Mandriva has been such a help to me. I can't begin to pay 'em back. Doesn't stop me from trying. Very Happy
