Running Mandriva 2009.1, after an update videos on Firefox 3.0.11 with Mplayer 3.55 plugin are choppy almost sounding like reverb and skipping frames.

Disabled Pulse, installed various mixers etc...

No change.

Videos and music files run well on desktop.

Start firefox from terminal then reproduce the sound problem and see if there's any useful messages there.

Nothing at all.

Appears to be a .flv issue, other feeds play fine.

Make sure you have the latest flash player 10 and uninstall libflashsupport.

Fixed it.

Reinstalled libflashsupport, and enabled Pulse.
