 |
|
Hi.
After updating to the kernel version 2.6.22.12-laptop-1mdv (HP 6715b) I have a really strange behaviour: The fan starts every 15 seconds ...
The log files say the following:
Code: |
Dec 4 00:13:00 localhost acpid: completed event "thermal_zone TZ1 00000081 00000000"
Dec 4 00:13:21 localhost acpid: received event "thermal_zone TZ1 00000081 00000000"
Dec 4 00:13:21 localhost acpid: notifying client 4029[16:16]
Dec 4 00:13:21 localhost acpid: notifying client 5257[0:0]
|
But the temperature is at 41°C - so everything is okay ...
Has any one an idea? It's really annoying to hear it the whole day ...
Thanks in advance
salutations

Can you file it as a bug at http://bugzilla.mandriva.com/ , especially if it wasn't happening with the previous official kernel? Thanks!

With the kernel 2.6.22.9-desktop586-2md2 my laptop's fan is always turned on. The temperature the most of the time is under 40ºC but the fan speed is increasing and it reaches the maximum after 15 minutes like.
I have an Acer Aspire 1690. The rest of the things and configuratios are gorgeous!!!
Thank you!!! |
